Diamond Lapping compounds, particularly suited to the rapid polishing of all hard materials, are used extensively in the manufacture of precision components, tungsten carbide dies, precision gauges, optical flats and lenses etc.
DIACONE HIPOL (High Polish) Diamond Paste which is a Diamond Lapping compound is Oil Soluble version is designed to disperse in thin paraffin penetrating oils and thin cutting oils. Only a small amount of thinner is required to give considerable covering properties.
HIPOL Diamond paste are available in three concentrations which are easily recognized by colour coding for each grade and are supplied in transparent syringes which helps you determine what amount of paste should be used for particular process and how much further paste is available in the syringe this helps further in ease of handling, unnecessary wastages and utmost economy.
Tips: Use the paste as sparingly as possible. Initially, apply just sufficient thinner to spread the paste over the working surface and then subsequently as much as is required to maintain lubrication.

Application / Comparative Standard Equivalents Chart for Diamond Pastes and Powders
Diamond powder is graded mechanically by sieves into mesh and then chemically into micron sizes. Calibration of mesh is by the number of holes the sieve has per linear inch. One micron is roughly measured to be one part in 25,000 of an inch.

HIPOL Paste: When a paste is required for intermediate and best general purpose polishing - HIPOL-7 can be selected. HIPOL pastes are available in HIGH(H), MEDIUM(M), and LOW(L) concentration packed in 5cc syringes.
